Welcome to the Sigma Rho Chapter of DKE at Stanford

Delta Kappa Epsilon Sigma Rho Chapter was founded at Stanford University in 1901. We have been housed at 550 Cowell Lane, 592 Mayfield Avenue, and are currently unhoused. We have a strong history and tradition that dates back over a hundred years. By joining our brotherhood you will feel connection to tradition that is unmatched. National DKE alumni include Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, J.P. Morgan, George Steinbrenner, William Randolph Hearst, and many others. We also have an involved core of Stanford alumni in the Bay Area.

In addition to all-campus events like our Berlin Wall party, we throw tons of brothers-only events. House-boating trips, sorority mixers, tournaments, tailgates, off-campus dinners, football and basketball games, and many other things keep us connected and generating new memories. Many brothers live together and form lifelong friendships.

The founders of DKE believed that 'the candidate most favored was he who combined in the most equal proportions the gentleman, scholar, and the jolly good fellow' - criteria which have remained unchanged to this day.
